Foreword
We are tremendously excited that we were able to publish this issue of the Tropical Journal of Medical Research (TJMR) in the first half of 2022. On behalf of the editorial board, I am immeasurably appreciative of our highly esteemed authors and readers. We also acknowledge the dedication, enthusiasm, and excellent work of our Editors. The outstanding academic reputation, the good quality of research produced by TJMR authors, and the timely painstaking assessment by the highly seasoned peer reviewers have been fundamental for the secret of our successes.
We are most grateful to cPrint Publisher-(cPP), Nigeria, for their immense support and excellent service delivery to TJMR. Their innovative idea of publishing ahead of print articles as soon as the acceptance and copyediting stages are completed is a welcome development. Our goal is to continue to publish high-quality research articles borne out of sound scientific research in all fields of medicine and allied sciences so as to continue the speedy progress of the TJMR.
I, therefore, call on all researchers as well as the university and scientific community to partner with us by offering valuable counsel, advice, guides, and outright constructive criticisms that will help us continuously improve.
On behalf of the dedicated and hard-working editorial board and our enthusiastic reviewers who have remained focused to see the timely publication of this volume 21 (issue 1), I wish you all the best.
